Please read these conditions carefully before placing an order with Bachchay Limited. By placing an order with Bachchay Limited, you signify your agreement to be bound by these conditions.
When you place an order for any product on this website you are contracting directly with the seller of that product, and not with Bachchay. Any claim you may have for any defect with, or failure to deliver the product, is against the seller.
All delivery terms will be set out on the Seller’s information page when purchasing the products.
If you use any Bachchay Service you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer and devices, and to the extent permitted by applicable law you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. You should take all necessary steps to ensure that the password is kept confidential and secure and should inform us immediately if you have any reason to believe that your password has become known to anyone else, or if the password is being, or is likely to be used in an unauthorised manner. You are responsible for ensuring that the details you provide us with are correct and complete, and for informing us of any changes to the information you have provided. You can access and update much of the information you have provided us with, including your account settings, on the website. We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts or remove or edit content if you are in breach of applicable laws, these Conditions of Use or any other applicable terms and conditions, guidelines or policies. Bachchay’s Role
Bachchay allows third party sellers to list and sell their products at Bachchay.com. In each such case this is indicated on the respective product detail page. While we help facilitate transactions that are carried out on the Bachchay site, we are neither the buyer nor the seller of the seller's items. Bachchay provides a venue for sellers and buyers to negotiate and complete transactions. Accordingly, the contract formed at the completion of a sale for these third party products is solely between buyer and seller. Bachchay is not a party to this contract nor assumes any responsibility arising out of or in connection with it nor is it the seller's agent. The seller is responsible for the sale of the products and for dealing with any buyer claims or any other issue arising out of or in connection with the contract between the buyer and seller.
Where you're cancelling your purchase within the first 14 days from the day you receive, or a third party indicated by you (other than the carrier), receives the last goods ordered by you (if delivered separately), and there's been no error on the Seller's part, Sellers are only required to refund standard postage charges corresponding to the least expensive type of delivery offered by them.
Please note that, with respect to returns initiated during the first 14 days from the day of delivery, Sellers aren't required to refund the cost of gift-wrapping, returning the item to the Seller, and other services provided to you in connection with your purchase unless you return the item to the Seller because of an error on the Seller's part or because it's defective.
When you purchase an item from a Seller, Bachchay charges your credit card and passes on payment, less a commission, to your Seller. For you to secure a refund equivalent to your initial purchase price and delivery costs, your Seller must request a refund via Bachchay.
In any case where a refund is necessary, such as when your Seller is out of stock and can't dispatch, or when you return an item, it's the Seller's responsibility to request that refund.
The returns policy offered by Sellers must be equivalent to or better than the returns policy set out in these terms.
To learn more about a Seller's returns policy, you can find this on the product page under returns. You can find delivery, help, and customer feedback relating to that Seller on this page. If not specified in the Seller’s Returns and Refunds policy, Bachchay’s returns policy will apply.
Please read information under returns on the seller’s product page or contact the seller via the online enquiry form. If you return items in which you've saved personal information, such as laptops, cameras or other electronic devices, you must erase this information completely before sending the product back to the Seller.
To ensure the safe return of the merchandise, please package your item with care. Items valued over £50.00 should be returned to the Seller using a trackable, signed-for, delivery service. If the order is valued at £100.00 or more, we recommend you insure your return for the value of the product and use a signature required delivery service.
Bachchay strives to maintain a marketplace that's fair to both buyers and Sellers. Packaging returns with care reduces the chances of damage in transit and can assist with the processing of the return by the Seller. Sending the return via a trackable delivery method protects you in the event a Seller doesn't receive an item.
If a product you’ve purchased on Bachchay turns out to be faulty after delivery or not as advertised (i.e., non-conformant), the Seller has to give you a free of charge (including return costs) repair, replacement or refund for a “reasonable time” following the sale. That time will vary depending on the product and its value. In addition, many Sellers or manufacturers of the products sold offer their own commercial warranty that may also promise to repair the product purchased for a period of time. These may be free or for optional purchase.
Note: The commercial guarantee may never replace the legal warranty described above, which you always have from the Seller.
